Would you think that something tiny like this could cause such havoc?  Seriously the cat dominates my life, she wants to be let in and let out and then let in again.  She roams the house, never knowing what she wants but always exactly doing what she thinks she wants.
You cannot distract her with books or cartoons, you cannot put her in bed and you cannot take her for a walk.
My guess is that she is fed up with winter or maybe fed up with our neighboring cats?  Or maybe just fed up with me?

I have to admit that I also want to have a lightbulb moment, do I have to accept a crappy job just to have work or do I have to keep on looking for something better.  How will the crappy job look on my resume?  What will it say about me?  Hopefully my job counseling will provide me with some vast answers.  Maybe I just think too much?

Do you think that this society equals to too much stress and pressure?  I hear and know many people whom cannot deal with this demanding society anymore.  Have you also noticed how a simple thank
you is almost too much to utter, how you only hear about the mistakes
you have made but never hear well done, good job.  How damaging is this in the long run?
Is there a place for people whom does not fit in a ruthless place?  Should we create our own community?
Sometimes I just want to run and hide.

But despite these gloomy thoughts I still believe that the unexpected beauty hides behind corners and only the observant will catch it.  Small things make me happy, this sunday I had a Camilla day :).  I sat outside in the sun, wearing mittens and a coat but never the less enjoying the first rays of sun and the book I am currently reading.  It took me back to my holidays to Denmark and made me  think about how you could turn a corner and be confronted with a beautiful scenery.  I missed the beach that sunny sunday, missed how we sat on a rock and just listened to the sound of the waves.
In remembrance I baked cupcakes, using the paper cups that I received from the same Camilla.
I now realize what time does to you.  It makes you calmer and gives your more time to be creative.  While working full time I was always running, always on the go and doing something useful.  Now I have time to go to plays, make bracelets with beads, read blogs and books, spin wool, think about knitting projects, write letters in the middle of the day, meet up with friends,...  Valuable lessons are being learned.  And yet I want a job, preferably a full time one.  Why does work dominates our life?  When did we shift from asking how are you to what are you doing?

I often wonder what the world will look like in 10 years.  Which measurements will we have taken to preserve this planet, which countries in this world will be the center of power and money, how will we work and live?  Will our lives have changed a lot?  Will we become more globalized and will different cultures and languages disappear or will we be more focussed on everything locally?  I think that intriguing times are awaiting us, filled with challenges.

An ordinary day at work you would think, until  you see me struggling to get up and move.  I feel like an 80 year old today.  I actually had the sensation last night that something felt odd in the shoulder area but that something is getting worse by the minute.  There is definitely something wrong with my right shoulder.  You wouldn't think that lifting a cup could be such a struggle.

I think that I have discovered the quality of being a good boss today.  You only have to be capable of doing one thing: track your personel down and make sure that they are working.  Granted I haven't played this corportate game for a very long time but even when my bosses are abroad, they call me.  Just to explain how nice the weather and there holiday is, so they claim.  In reality we all know that they just are checking up on us, to make sure that I am not gazing at the rabbits.  Yes we do have rabbits here in our garden.  They are a great hopping past time and do you think that when they spend more time outside, spring is almost there?  Because I literally cannot wait, I am done with snow and ice.  I am not yet crossing out days on  my callendar to check how many days until spring, but I am close.
But we where discussing bosses, it (because we all know that they are not really human) even send someone by my office to see if I was working and to ask about my plans for today.  Isn't that a tad too obvious?

I wonder if I still can be an exchange student at age 31?  I look much younger than my actually age you know, so really no one would actually notice.  Wouldn't it be great to spend a year in Australia or study for a year at Harvard or Yale?
